says to Lunn WindRiderSr. Captai: Standing at an even 7’2” and 340lbs of fine Tuchuk cooking I slung the 36inch shield on My left arm holding the handle and securing the strap, being a Farmer I had the arm power to control the shield and it gave Me move flexibility with the large wooden planked shield, the iron boss and bound around the rim with a rivet band was pulled in at the left flank so the edge faced You and the flat pointed out to My left, The left arm coiled at the elbow so the boss would sit at the left hip level, the upper rim at the side of My head at the left jaw level and the right rim (my pov) comes around slightly to cover part of My left side chest…The left foot was leading on as I moved into the stance and the shield came around in the move so the face of the shield was now looking at You to cover the left side of My chest with the right rim, the left side rim comes out past My left side and back a little to cover, keeping the right rim about 3 inches from My chest….., The right hand pulled My long sword of 30 inch with an acorn pommel is pulled up so that the middle of the blade was resting on My right shoulder and the tip pointing back, My left shoulder leading on so You would see My long sword tip sticking around the back of My neck as You would see it…I rolled My neck to ensure the Y helm was on secure….The 30 inch long, thick metal saber was on My back going from My left arse cheek to My right shoulder, the hilt being at the shoulder for access…I moved to My right slowly as I circle to My right and watch You at 4 paces and got ready

says to Joe MacBain Companion of: ~seeing you I slip my helm on and draw my short sword, you see 6 feet 3 horts (6’4”) about 59 stone (236 pounds) A steel Torvaldslander helm with nasal and mail drape on my head, wearing a scarlet rep tunic, master belt, leather britches and tarn boots.
36" steel edged and reinforced, center grip wooden round shield with an 8” steel boss, in my left hand covering about a hort (1 1/2”) past my elbow. A 22" double-edged short sword, 6” hilt, 4” cross guard in my right hand. A pair of 8" blade, 6” hilt throwing knifes in outside right and left boot.
Coming to a rest with my left shoulder and foot forward, my torso angled back toward my right about 70 degrees with my right foot a shoulder width back the toe angled 90 degrees to my left. Flexing my knees lets my shield cover from just above my right shoulder to just below my mid thigh. My right hand is raised up to about my right shoulder with the blade of my sword pointing forward along my axis toward you a hort or so above the rim of my shield and protruding about 6 horts past the rim as I turn my head to face you moving up to about 3 feet.~ I am ready.
6-4, 236
helm
36 inch round shield left hand
22 inch short right hand
distance 3 feet? kind of close to start.

says to Lunn WindRiderSr. Captai: -I watched You close in to a single pace and waste no time, I was already moving to My right as I circle and could see Me about My right shoulder level by the time You closed the gap to a pace
I swung the longsword from My right shoulder, forward and then downward to send the tip soaring to My right and low, as I did that I was twisting on the balls of both feet so that My entire body would turn with Me as I aimed the razor blade for the back of Your right knee as I was aiming to sweep through that joint and out to My right side, I kept My left shield pulled in tight as I turned on the balls of My feet at the 3 feet distance and was thinking about the counter from Your short sword with the range that You had with it
No need to close, but are you in a left side lead then, and what is meant by right shoulder level? -1 as this is a confusing description.
I dont see this attack from your position. His right leg is back behind his left. It looks as though you meant his left leg? -1

says to Joe MacBain Companion of: ~as you move to my right I pivot on my left foot to keep facing you, bringing my right foot around to my right and forward, it now leading, as I close the distance to 1 1/2 feet. Meanwhile my shield drops down the foot or so and is pushed out to my left a little to catch your sword on left rim of it rather than my leg.
As your sword meets my shield I thrust out in a quick jab aimed to bury the tip of my blade deep into your exposed right elbow or upper arm as my shield rises back to the defensive position after the danger passes~
Okay, Im officially lost here. He stated he is attacking your right leg and yet you move it closer and then move your shield to your left? I dont see how his sword can hit the left edge of your shield. No matter the target, he is moving it from HIS left to right. If it hits any part of your shield, it would be the right edge, not the left. -1
I will not end the fight here as he did not really have a shot at your right leg, until you offered it forward to him. Either way, his sweep would hit one of your legs and you have taken your shield out of its path by moving it to the left. One of them would be hit by his blade, either the right as it came forward or the left if he missed the right. His post was confusing, but what was certain was the path of his blade being from his left to his right. I will let this continue and you now have a gash to the inside of your left knee.
This is clean, but you need to note that when you are blocking an action, the danger has not passed and resetting your shield with his sword still in place is very dangerous.

says to Lunn WindRiderSr. Captai: .apologies...kids started fighting and I did not post from the circle to My right then CLOSE OVER TO YOUR RIGHT TO GET THE RIGHT SHOULDERS LEVEL I am attacking Your right leg.....I felt the sword hit Your shield and instantly I drew My right foot back swiftly to open the gap and push My left shield over My body in a side punch, the combo move of the body moving behind the shield and the shield being punched across at the same time to quicken the move and catch Your blade on the left side of My shield (My pov) to hit the wood
as You sqaure up and I have moved My right back further in the right side drag My right sword should be low on My right side, so I sweep the blade back in and up this time, turning My right wrist clockwise to turn the cutting edge up as I swing the blade up aimed for between Your legs to try andf sink the cutting edge into Your trailing leg past the shield rim
Aha now that clears that up. The counter is clean.
reaction would be clean, but where in the leg are you attempting to sink the blade? This is too vague as the leg is too large a target.. -1

says to Joe MacBain Companion of: ~yeah, my right left error there, but the defense was the same, so, live and learn, as your sword rises back up I step quickly to my right 2 feet as I thrust my shield down and toward my right a bit to protect from just below my knee and up on my left side, where your strike should land and keeping me safe as the sword meets my shield face.
As I do that, my left arm slashes back from left to right aiming to slip over the top of your shield and into your left leading shoulder or chest the stroke carrying it past to my right as my shield rises after the danger passes, to the defensive postion.~
clean considering the lack of clarity as to target.
Your left arm? you are stroking over his shield with your shield? This too sounds like an error as to which arm you are usiing. -1

as soon as I felt Your short hit the wood I drove off My left foot hard and fast to close the distance to zero and ram the My entire force behind My left shoulder to drive the edge of My shield at Your right shoulder/jaw and head to simply crush Your shoulder and knock You out in the close quick thrusting move of the shield, I left the longsword low to keep Your mind busy on that and perhaps keep Your shield low as it was
This works
clean and nasty reaction.

As you push me down with my sword on your shield face and your sword is on my left a bit I am in kind of a pickle here as to an attack, but then as you are almost on top of me it is an easy matter to release my shield with my left hand and with a stiff, hard uppercut under the rim of your shield I aim to plant my big assed Torvie meathook between your legs and introduce your family jewels to your voice box with a punch to the nads all Van Damme like~
He pushed your sword up, not back. This motion would not have moved you and the blow is a decending one with a shield rim that has 3 feet of curved surface coming down at you. He is a foot taller and the natural direction of this blow is not going to be avoided by dropping in this fashion. I see this connecting with your head and right shoulder area fully and ending the fight .. at best you are knocked out, at worst your right shoulder and collar bone is shattered.

Interesting fight, but too many errors of the right/left variety to be called clean. I think my comments speak for themselves. I wish you both luck.
