Standing at an even 7’2” and 340lbs of fine Nyah cooking I slung the 36inch shield on My left arm holding the handle but leaving the strap off, being a Farmer I had the arm power to control the shield and it gave Me move flexibility with the large wooden planked shield, the iron boss and bound around the rim with a rivet band was pulled in at the left flank so the edge faced You and the flat pointed out to My left, The left arm coiled at the elbow so the boss would sit at the left hip level, the upper rim at the side of My head at the left jaw level and the right rim (my pov) comes around slightly to cover part of My left side chest…The left foot was leading on as I moved into the stance and the shield came around in the move so the face of the shield was now looking at You to cover the left side of My chest with the right rim, the left side rim comes out past My left side and back a little to cover, keeping the right rim about 3 inches from My chest….., The right hand pulled My long sword of 34 inch with an acorn pommel is pulled up so that the middle of the blade was resting on My right shoulder and the tip pointing back, My left shoulder leading on so You would see My short tip sticking around the back of My neck as You would see it…I rolled My neck to ensure the Y helm was on secure….I moved to My right slowly as I circle to My right and watch You at 4 paces and got ready as I spoke….I have My weapons, I suggest You get Yours..
7’2 340

L Shield-36 in. Round-punch grip/position-L flank (Boundaries-jaw, boss-L hip; R edge-3 in. out)
R 34 in. longsword (shotgun guard)

Distance-4 paces (12 ft.)

at 5"8 and a 126lbs I was not much taller then most slaves and I was not over muscular I was strong from my daily work but I was known for my speed more then anything. My body turned slightly to s 45 degree angle to avoid a big target surface for my opponet. My sleen blades rest on thighs the handles rises 3.5 inches from the hip a total length of 5 inchces on the handle the blades adding another 7 inches and My dagger 5 inches in total length from tip to end rests in the outside right covering of My right boot. My wrists are adorned in a leather bracers to stabelise My wrists when using My bow.I held a brass tiped light spear in my left hand 8 inches down the shaft as the right cupped the dital end for a harder more controled thrust, the spear a total of 6 foot from tip to cap so I could keep distance from a much larger opponet. My feet stood shoulder width apart the left slightly back for extra balance and a faster lead off with My right foot.
5’8 126
7 in. Sleen blades on thighs
5 in. dagger (total length)-outside R boot
Bracers on wrists
6 ft. spear-R hand to butt end/L hand 8 in. down ( am going to assume You mean 8 in. from the base of Your spearhead)
*At what position in relation to Your body is Your spear?…on a hip, angled, etc?…
*What is Your target?
*How far out is Your spear extending in front of You?
R ft. lead-Half open
Feet shoulder width apart
Distance-non stated
Joe
-I was 12 feet away and I looked over Your weapons and as You did not seem to move with Me I guess I am moveing off to My right side as I start to step in, pushing off the right foot to close down the distace, I wanted the spear out the way and as I came closer I faint a shunt with My shield with just a flick of My forearm to put You off and give movement but it was My right arm that came around and brought My blade came chopping down to smack below the spear head and send it down to the ground
The final step in to a single pace as I plant My left foot down in the ground and drove My left shield forward in a hard grunting shunt, lowering through My knees to drop the hieght of My torso and shield, trying to get the top rim of shield under Ya jaw line as I drove the shield in and was coming up in the drive to make the shield sweep slightly upwards and hope to press Your spear against You close in and try and knock You clean out in the deal
Counter:
Circling R
Shield feint
Descending sword strike to spearhead/shaft junction-should be part of the Reaction since, although, it isn’t a direct attack, it is more offensive than defensive in this instance
*What is Your distance here and what stance are You in?
-1
9/10
Reaction:
Knee crouch
Forward/rising top edge shield strike
Target-front neck under jaw
Ending stance-L ft. lead
Ending distance-3 ft.

I grin as your simple flick of fore arm not tried but forced, I step back one pace as I am turned side ways this allows you to go by me and makes a locely target open as your shiels is in front of you this will avoid the rush of the mosnter size frame comming in on me as you swipe at my spear I do not fight it and let momentum carry it arond in a clock wise motion as you lower yourself into a more manageable size with the kneel this was good for me
as the spear rotates around I keep elbows close in no way I would exspose my chest as I did yesterday and rotate the spear alond the bottom rim of your shield using your own defense as a guide for my attack as the spear tip makes a grinding sound running full gambit the motion of the moon with an attempt for a quick thrust into the shoulder were the socket meets the arm as I am angled to your kneeling form
Counter:
You stepped back 3 ft. (with both feet…with R or L foot?)
He is 7’2, which means He has an approximate arm length of 34 inches and can pack a pretty good power punch judging from the size of Him and He came up from a crouched knee position forward which gives Him a bit of lunge affect, so, I am calling it here…He got Ya!
Reaction:
Joe
I could use some POV's here but think You are going for My left shoulder and the clockwise is to My pov? so You came under My shield rim and ride the outside edge? The error was that You made contact and I could hear the damn thing coming around the outside edge of the shield, I was already coming back up in the move before and now I smiply lift My left forearm up about 6 inches to put the shiled edge high over My left shoulder so the thrust goes over My shoulder and not in
Just a step back is all You made and I was happy with that as My blade would be down and to My right side with the natural swing, I hope Your spear is extended in the thrust and has exposed Your left side ribs for Me as I lift the blade tip to angle up and press in off My left foot and plant My right foot down, letting My shield rim slide along Your shaft as I close and drive My right arm forward aimed to try and push the tip of the blade into Your left side ribs, My right elbow starting at My right hip and the blade up on a 45 upon attempted entry
Iceis
as your sword is two inches shorter then my distance from you and having ot twist to swipe at my ribs I notice the movement of your body bringing the spear tip downward sharply at a 45 degree angle across your front I cold not over power you this was not going to hppen but using the spear in smack/swat defense I angle the blade just enough to miss my ribs
as yo have never risen from your kneeling stance shied now up me angled your vision of me is greatly reduced as I on your shield side to be now directly behinde you attempting to bring my right knee on the end of the pivot to the nape of your neck in hopes of a stunning blow to a sensitive area even for a giant such as yourself
Joe
I was never on My knees and the bobbing move was a flowing forward shunt as You move around I came about slowly with You as I feel a knee in My left kidney area I would guess, I gave a grunt but not much more than that
play time was over and I growled and this time I was going to take a knee and I swing My right shoulder back hard as I come down on My right knee and pivot fully around, pushing with My left foot to do so on the right knee, I swung My longsword out like a spinning saw blade sweeping it around at Your waist hieght, as I came around 3/4 I used the snap left in My right elbow to flick the blade to add that last section of speed and power
Iceis
your size and strength this time were my weapond as I am right on you a turn to your right would knock me back at least 4 paces I was a feather compared to you and your monster sizesending me frying back wards on my ass your blade had no effect as you saved me had to rember to thank you later for that and you cuaght nothing but air as your spin propelled me away before you swung the bade and I held on tight to my spear
using this time to rise back to my feet I retake my original stance as posted on the opening of the battle breathing hard eyes narrow as I look at you and wink
Injuries: Iceis-trachea smashed
Winner: Joe (By Killing Blow)

When You fight a big Guy like Joe, You want to make sure You stay out of range of any power punches, and in the case of a sword, consider sword blade length, plus arm length, what position is the arm in…fully extended, half extended, and stance-was there a lunge, a shoulder lean, etc.
Also, using a spear, You need to be clear how much spear is forward, and the position of spearhead and butt end need to be clear
Third, stepping=distance..and You need to be specific which foot is leading.
