Tal Joe and Ny,
'you read this on a piece of crumpled paper given to you by a Steading Thrall who looks like he wants to stay '
I send my love to you both and congratulations on your new homestead.
what is the best way to come across your home if I get lost?
I told the thrall to wing it over the mountian pass, I wasn't sure if he'd make it. He's not very bright. he'll be beat when he gets home because of it.
anyways
I know this is not funny but I must ask. you wouldn't have mistakenly packed every grain of salt from the Steading , would you have?. If you could just double check?.. maybe one of the children accidently did it. You know kids these days..'lol'
I'll be thinking of you over the winter and hope to make the death defying trek over the pass. I hope there are no surprise cliffs along the way.
be well and may you always have salt.
Ashley.

A bloodied and battered thrall comes staggering up the path as Olaf just beat the crap out of him on sight, as soon as he got the beach before he could splutter about a message....I take the crumpled blood spotted paper and read with a hearty laff...as I make him stand outside in the snow and write back..
Dear Ash,
will have a check in the stores, I did think the boat was rather full! As for gettin here. It is a rough trek through the Steading pass and then a choppy sail down to the Island, come down the east coast and We are on the south tip at the large pebble beach. We plan on coming over for a visit as soon as Nyah is up to travelling again......would be great to see you...erm sorry about the thrall am sure he will mend!
love
Joe, Nyah, Petra and bump ;D
I shove the message back in the thralls side pack, with some food and a bota of water, he gets to sleep in the shed by Olaf for the night before being sent packing.
