says to = Siktir the Berzerker =: -standing an even 7'2" and 340lbs of Nyah's cooking, Joe MacBain steps in the sands....He wore no helm and His head was shaved down close, the only things He had as per the agreement was a gladius of 22inch blade, double edged and razor sharp, held in the right hand and drawn out...The right hand was at the waist level with the blade up at a 45 angle pointing outwards...the left foreaerm had a buckler on it made of wood and strapped on secure, the left forearm was held close across the gut to show the face of the buckler to His Foe....the left foot forward and the torso left side on to lower the target area, this of course pulled the buckler to be sat now from the left hip, as the right foot draw back to shoulder width and the knees bend slightly as I take up an orthodox boxing stance
Wear a helmet.
Gladius in right hand.
Buckler on left arm/hand.

says to Joe MacBainCompanion to : … I stand facing you squarely at a distance of 3 paces. No helmet was upon my head. I stand at 7’5 375 pounds. Held by my left hand is a 20 inch steel buckler. The buckler positioned to be center on my belly button, not quite extending out past either side of my large form. The top rim of the buckler goes to just under my nipples while the bottom rim is just below my nut sack. A 22 inch, double-edged gladius is within my right hand. The sword was held with the pommel in front of my right thigh’s middle with the tip pointing forward. …
Wear a helmet!
Buckler in left hand.
Gladius in right hand.

says to = Siktir the Berzerker =: wonderful -nods as the weapons match apart from My buckler wooden and yours metal as I nodded I was ready and as I nodI move off to Your right, pushing off My left foot to close a pace before I shift hard and fast to My right to zig over and to the side of Your left shoulder, a tight circle starting as I twisted on the ball of the now leading left foot to be able to come to the side as came in and closed in further, I was aware of Your blade and shifted My left arm out to My left slightly about 2 inches to be ready for a counter
bringing the right held blade of Mine into play as the right wrist just twists the thumb downward to turn My blade and sweep the right arm close to My body but cut the blade fast and lower to aim the upper section of the cutting edge at Your left buttock area to left it just cut and sting out to draw blood and slow a big Man, being big Myself I know how much the arse moved a Torv about, hoping to let the right blade of Mine sweep out and to My right slightly to be able to hook it back in if needed
A little shakey on the wording, but clear enough to be clean.
(17:43:39 )
= Siktir the Berzerker =
says to Joe MacBainCompanion to : … I start to turn to my right before switching in movement with you swinging the left side of my body backwards and to my right so that I remain square on you as you come in. Your target would now be the outside of my left hip/ass area so my buckler lowers and slams across to my left, the inside rim of my buckler swinging forward in the process so my buckler becomes perpindicular to my body rather than parallel and the edge of your sword slams into the expanse of my buckler rather than my flesh. While doing this my sword drifts down some. …
… I then bend at the knee’s while thrusting my sword tip first forward and to my left so that it comes to pass between your legs at mid shin level, and as the tip starts to go past your legs I lash that gladius tip across to my right aiming to send the edge of my sword biting into the back-inside of your left calf from halfway down past the knee to just above the Achilles tendon, as I wasn’t seeking permanent damage – just enough to leave you on the ground. Naturally aware of your gladius still I shove my buckler towards you and up while turning the outside rim so my buckler is once more parallel to my body just off set to my left so as to try and force your sword up over my head and wide to my left, still resting against my buckler, only now hopefully along its top rim. …
Ok, admitting to fall for a juke is not a good thing. He got you turning, and then he moved as fast as he could to your left, and you admitting to turning to your right, basically does exactly what he wanted, so to have the edge on making the strike. For both of you being giants, he's the smaller one and likely the speedier one. Grazing slash to the left ass cheek/outside hip. -1.
ok this reaction puts you into a very very bad position.

Joe MacBain
says to = Siktir the Berzerker =: -I could You turning with Me and this was now the time I started to shift My leading left leg back sharply to open a gap and get range as You stooped down and went for the left leg low it was already coming back and I came down on the left knee fast and hard to get the buckler to slam down with Me so the lower rim would hit the sand soild and try and catch Your blade and pin it to the sands if I was quick enough
My right arm by law must come down with Me as You did get to push it up and it was dragged over the outter rim of Your buckler, as soon as it was cleared, it had the advantage now of being vertical infront of Me and You and I drive up from the left knee sharply as I aim the tip of gladius for Your right shoulder, just enough to sink in some skin and weaken the right arm of Yours, as I came up I was pulling the buckler up My thigh to come at My gut level as My left foot was now back it would make Me cross My left forearm over My waist
You're pulling your left leg back, that is fine to defend that shakey attack, but if you're doing that as his awkward strike is starting, you'd not have time to drop to your left knee and try to pin his sword to the ground with the buckler, his stroke would be long cleared. You had a chance to really pound him with him in that lousy position but ya missed it. -1.
Good reaction to come up with a heavy cross body thrust. Though for an easier chance of hitting, it's better to aim for the center torso to make it harder to dodge, but this isn't really meant for lethal blows, just a future note.
(17:57:09 )
= Siktir the Berzerker =
says to Joe MacBainCompanion to : … I quickly swivel at the hips to allow my left hip and left side of my torso to rotate forward and my right hip and right-side torso backwards so that your stab could pass in front of my now angled chest. This however was not my primary defense. As you stab upwards and across the face of my bucklers position en route to my shoulder, since you didn’t state trying to stab behind it, I bash my buckler further forward and to my right so that I might be able to pin your sword against your own buckler face as it rises with your body and trap your blade between our bucklers and your buckler against your form. …
… With you’re right leg being mere inches away from my blade and it no longer pinned since you stood up and your buckler went up as well. I rotate my right shoulder forward and down to my left, hips swiveling for speed and power as I thrust my already low gladius, tip first, forward and to my left so that the tip of my sword might pierce the back-inside half of your right leg at mid-calf area so that if you pivot the edge of my sword would still be likely to draw blood. I had not risen in elevation so was in prime position for this opening. After the thrust my blade quickly retreats to my right and high so that it is once more pommel in front of my right leg, about it’s kneel level. And during the retreat my right wrist twisting so that the blade tip points up slightly. …
You would not be able to pin his sword to his own buckler, his buckler was hanging very low from his attempted trap, even with raising up to stand it'd not be high enough to pin. Because he stated bringing it to his gut, you said moving your buckler only forward and to your right, would need much more downward action as well. -1.
Reaction I'm close to deducting for, but I can't seem to put my finger on what is wrong with it.

Joe MacBain
says to = Siktir the Berzerker =: You had twisted and back off some and opened a gap up, this was the time I needed before Your buckler came back foward fully I was shifting back so that My right leg went back and My left leg leads as You did not say You was doing this at the same time I had made room now as You got to push My blade away put not pin it to My buckler, nor My buckler to Me, I had now a few inch gap and was dropping as I stepped the right leg back as I was aware You had not come up right away and the low twist telling Me You would go low again, I dropped to the right knee this time and again slam the buckler lower rim to the sand to block close and deny the shot at My good boots
You still had not come up and now I would stay low and keep the clover of My buckler on full as My right blade was pushed with the face of Your buckler I swing it around the shield rim of Your own buckler, anti clockwise from My POV as it was a gladius and much faster I was aiming to sweep the tip around the bottom as I would push the right blade forward slightly more in aims to let the tips slip over Your thighs and come out at My right side close to My right shoulder rady to defend from a high strike now if I needed it
Ok, the step back on your right foot is fine, but dropping down to try and smash the buckler to the ground would not stop the blow. You just can't go that fast when you're that big and got such a small shield. Your buckler was at stomach level on your left side, you had no indication of bringing the buckler to your right, just down. mild cut to the right lower leg on the inside. -1.
reaction is not bad.
(18:13:31 )
Siktir the Berzerker =
says to Joe MacBainCompanion to : … Your gladius had been blocked off wide to your left so as you back hand your gladius I raise the hilt of my sword and lower it’s tip while pushing the blade out to your left and forward so during your swords descent the middle of your sword finds the middle of my own sword in a stop-block at my wide right, preventing me from losing blood. …
… My sword sweeps up then down in a forward looping counter clockwise arc (my view). During the movement the tip of my sword rotates out to my right and up then down and to my left… The intention was to over power your sword and make it move with mine so that my sword would bully it out high to my right while moving, the natural reaction would be mine rotating to the outside of yours, and then bullying it down and to my left so that the flat of my sword, the portion extending out further than that of your own sword, can come crashing down towards the back left side of your left side head. I rise in elevation unbending my knee’s during this. During the descent of my blade the tip comes to angle down as it continues to drive forward to do this skyhookish move, hopefully behind your shield. …
counter is good.
when you rotated your sword to turn the tip outward, you would loose the contact with his sword. His sword was largely horizontal, yours was in a diagonal infront of it, when you rotated the sword around you'd of went right over top of his sword without any further movement to pick it back up. Unrealistic parry of his sword but the attack is ok. -1.

says to = Siktir the Berzerker =: You was under My blade as You try to push against a 340lb Torv of 7'2" and then drive My own sword over My head, I was not about to let that happen and tho You are slightly bigger, I am useing My pecs and gravity to fight the upward arc of Your bully attempt, You are using Your shoulder against all this and I drive up off the right knee as I fight Your blade and shoulder as it comes up slowly in the battle of power, I keep My right wrist locked down hard to keep the mid section of My blade on Yours...Your blade is coming up and I have the time in the power battle to drive back and open a half pace as I drag My blade off Yours to scrape down the blade edge and pull clear to save My head and make Your own blade fall short, as I was doing this I was driving up My buckler to across My body in a punch to My right in order to further hinder Your gladius in the acent of the balde and Your body so that the right rim My POV would hit the mid section of Your blade as it came over, if it got over and smash it off to My right side......end spar
---Scoring.---
Siktir: 7 Points, wound to the left hip/ass cheek.
Joe: 8 Points, Grazing wound to inside of left leg.
Winner= Joe Macbain.
Comments: Ok, this spar was not very good for either of you. I do not know if i was overly picky this morning or what, but this spar had no sense of a real flow to it. Maybe it is the conflict of styles, or something. Siktir seems to be fighting like he's not a giant sometimes and othertimes he is. This spar was like old people fuck, slow and sloppy.
