Carinus stands 6 feet 5 inches tall and weights 200 pounds (give or take, it depends on how well his mate treats Him and how much workout He gets :-) ). He has slim, rather athletic than hulking figure. His eyes have color of hazel, his hair is a bit darker. His face bears a pair of bright red scars of plains people.
It was 33 years ago, when an elderly farmer couple found a baby-boy, wrapped only in rags, on their way from field. Having no children on their own, they took him as a fosterling and named him Hardalio Carinus. Origin of the child remains mystery; some villagers considered him a son of a run-away slave, the others believed the baby came from the world of barbarians. Whichever of that may the truth, little Carinus was raised in a village that crouched at the foot of the Ta-Thassa mountains, at the very edge of rolling southern prairies.
Being son of farmers, he practically grew up working at field and tending domestic animals. But the older he grew, the more he was lured be nearby mountains, and at the age of 15, he joined local hunters on their hunting. Few years later, when he had learned basics, he began hunting on his own. One day, he returned back after hunting for several days only to find the village burning, raided by Kataii people. Hardalio was 20
Having no homestone or relatives, the young man drew back to solitary life of a wandering hunter. He avoided people as much he could, and he always dreaded the day when he had to come to the fair and sell his catch (Even today, he still feels a bit uncomfortable in too crowded places). One and a half year ago, he wandered into the camp of Kassars, ruled by Ubar Saran Ibn. He did not intend to stay longer, but when he was offered home, he decided to give it a try.
It took him some time until he got accustomed to life in the camp - in the very beginning, he often rode out to open plains, just to spend a night alone. Soon, Carinus earned trust of the Ubar and become a Commander and later a Camp Second. In the camp, he came across a tiny woman, with hair of molten copper and piercing green eyes. Sedim was her name and she was camp's Slave Coordinator back then. At first, they were friends, but as they spent more time together, his feelings for her grew. To make the story short, He courted her and as soon as he earned his courage scars, he claimed her for his companion.
After some time, Hardalio and his beautiful mate decided to leave nomadic way of life and moved northwards to Hulneth island where Sedim's relatives lived. There he got to know her large family, including her numerous nieces and nephews. He also found out, that by claiming his beloved mate, he become a father of young woman SerraMya, Sedim's foster daughter. Recently, the couple has settled down in their own cabin and they lead a happy life on the island.
