is upon the large pebble path and says to ALL: *slipping out the door of her Jarl's cabin she pulls her cloak, tighter around her shoulders venturing off toward the path. the day was nice, sun kissing along her cheeks, booted feet contuing forward. she hed slept well the previous night, waking up rather refreshed and actually feeling well rested. kicking off the dirt from her boots, small hands moved to the door as she slipped inside the hall*

is within the Great Hall of the North and says to ALL: *hanging up her cloak, lil feet sauntered off toward the kitchen, a bounce in her step really as she was excited to try the two recipes. so she hadn't had much experience cooking, but how hard could it be following directions...as she did it nearly every enh of the day. washing her hands with warms water and soap flakes, she dried them with a rep cloth, dark eyes looking about now, as she reached for the first recipe eyeing the ingredients.*

is within the Great Hall of the North and says to ALL: *she set the two vulo's on cutting board to the side. she gathered the flour, pepper, butter, onions, mushrooms, parsley, rice, water measured out, and salt. she read the recipe once leaning against the counter as she read it again making sure she understood each part. it would probably be best to start with the vulo as it really was the main course in "vulo with mushroom - wine sauce" as the recipe called it anyways. taking a deep breathe she faced all the ingredients and measuring utensils she set out, ready or not to dive in*

is within the Great Hall of the North and says to ALL: *reading the first instruction she split the previously cooked vulos..thanks to a girl she now owed a good portion of chocolate too, down the middle, patting down each half soaking up any excess juices or liquids. in a side bowl she tossed in the 2 tablespoons of sa tarna flour, mixing in the 1/8 teaspoon of pepper and combining the two. sprinkling the mixtures sparsely over each portion of vulo, she set the remaining mix to the side. rinsing and drying the water droplets from the skillet, she placed the coated vulo inside. the fire licking at the button she brushed the butter along each piece of meat, watching as the flour and pepper dissolved with it, eventually turning brown.*

is within the Great Hall of the North and says to ALL: *next time she would cook the vulo herself however eliminating that step really did give her hope that she might just get this right. sliding the vulo onto a large and previously warmed serving platter. washing and rinsing the cutting board, she dried it again, sliding back along the counter as she cut up the mushrooms equaling out to about 2 cups, and dicing the onions as well. adding the two vegetables to the skillet, moving them easily around until sauteed hopefully like the recipe described. the aroma of mushrooms and onions mixed with the remaining butter teased her senses as the kitchen filled with a suprisingly pleasant smell.*

is within the Great Hall of the North and says to ALL: *reaching for the bowl of remaining flour and pepper, she sprinkled it over the veggies, splashing the two cups of ta grape wine in as well. what looked like a what..witches brew...or something... continued to cook and bubbles , dark eyes remaining on the mixtures as it slowly came to a boil. still stirring she moved the skillet off the fire adding the browned vulo and sprinking parsley as well. placing a lid over the final results she let it sit now simmering apparently for 25 enhs, so she could now work on the rice*

is within the Great Hall of the North and says to ALL: *reaching for the rinsed and dried pan, she filled the measuring cup with water four times, pouring it each time into the pan. two teaspoons of butter are added, along with the two cups of rice, moving over to the fire and sprinkling a dash of pepper in. cooking now and quickly she continued to stir watching as the bubbles slowed started to form. lifting the lid on the vulo she made sure everything looked ok. the rice eventually coming to a boil, she set it near the skillet, covering to let it simmer as well for twenty enhs, so the rice would become um..light and fluffy.*

is within the Great Hall of the North and says to ALL: *the main course down done..or close too, she moved back to the counter eyeing the second recipe. she loved ramberry's herself..and well cake was almost as good as chocolate. dumping the two cups of ramberries in with one cup of flour into the clean bowl. mixing the two togther with a large wooden spoon she made sure the flour was completely soaked up into the berries before moving to the next step. in a seperate bowl she mixed the sugar, eggs, butter and milk, beating the ingredients together as it created a yellowy liquid. the remaining cup of flour tossed in,baking powder, and salt that had been peviously mixed together. the batter becoming a bit thicker, she added the mixture of flour and ramberries to the rest stirring in big strokes with the large spoon.*

is within the Great Hall of the North and says to ALL: *pouring the sweet batter into a greased pan, she set it to the side eyeing just how to make the topping now. reaching for another bowl, the kitchen quite a mess now as the organization thing in cooking at least, wasn't turning out the best for her. mixing the brown sugar, butter, flour, lemon juice, and dash of cinammon, she washed her hands and the spoon again. mixing the ingredient together, she sprinkled them over the ramberry batter. lips curved into a bright smile as now all she had to do was wait for the cake to bake for 35 enhs.*

is within the Great Hall of the North and says to ALL: *checking on the vulo and veggie way yummy mixture, she set the skillet to the side away from the fire now as it could still heat the food but not scald or burn it, as it smelled like it would taste good. she moved the rice as well, peeking at the suprise suprise.. white and fluffiness of it. putting the remaining food back to it's indivual place, she gathered all the bowls, cutting board, measuring utensils, and whatever else was dirty. she hummed to herself washing each dish, checking on the vulo and rice off and on as the flame barely licked at either now. taking a couple of dry and clean rep cloths she wrapped her fingers around the now cooked ramberry cake placing it on top of another cloth to cool a bit. drying the last dish and putting it away, she took another clean cloth laying it over the cake to keep the remaining heat in as it said to serve warm.*
