is in the large main field and says to Joe MacBainCompanion to : I stand 6ft 5ins tall, I weigh in at 220lbs, I am Torvie by birth, my muscular body facing you so my left sides leads on to give less of a target area, my northern styled helmet is on head and chin strap is secure, a 22in short sword in my right hand the blade is horizontal to the ground, at waist height, while my elbow is bent at a perpendicular angle, the tip of the blade facing you. My 3ft Gorean round shield that’s made of layers of hardened leather and bound together by iron strapping with a iron rim is strapped to my lower left arm, it’s held in front of my body covering from my throat to mid thighs. Two 8ins throwing daggers one on each hip within sheathes, one 2ft throwing axe is on my right hip dangling handle down within a loop from my belt. My feet are shoulder width apart my right foot is back a step for stability, my long woollen shirt is hanging over my cloth trousers the drawstring tied tightly, I look towards the Warrior the look in my eyes towards him is colder than the winter driven snow. I hold him totally within my sights as I stand within 1 pace of him
(that was to Ahoicipe btw)

is in the large main field and says to Pelagon Guest of Hulneth: So there you where all aimed to the teeth with a lot of weight on you and seemed to want to kick this fallen mans ass. Well I was not going to allow that cause I did not like men kicking my ass. I watched you and you seemed 3 foot from me with your left side towards me so I circle in a back peddling movement of my feet to my right in a few steps this put me at 6ft from you now and facing your rise side abit more. I had some of my old gear on. I was wearing a tunic with leather boots and in my right hand was a 22” short sword with the hilt level with my head and my hand out to my right , the blade tip was pointing down to my left slightly so it was well over my centre chest but pointing forward at a 60 angle down and in front of my shield. My shield was strapped to my left arm by 2 straps one on my left hand and one strapped to my forearm and the shield was 26” wide and a common round shield. The shield was held over centre chest at a 30 angle to my right where my left hand was near my right side and the shield covered my torso from neck to hip as I was 6ft and 200lbs I was not carrying anymore weapons so I was more agile.
no helm
26" round on left
22" short in right at head level to right, blade across to left and down slightly
6', 200lbs
Distance opened to 6 feet

is in the large main field and says to Ahoicipe {MK}Macha's sav: I looks towards him noticing him moving to his left, I move towards him to closing the distance between us to 3ft at the same time my shield is moved more in front of me to make sure my body isnt exposed
I swing my shiled from right to left in the hope that his shiled will be moved towards his sword at same time I raise my arm holding sword so that the tip of my sword is raised and pointing towards his upper left arm then I propel my sword in a forwards motion towards his left upper arm, I pulls the sword back towards my body moving my shield to my right so that my body is protected from chin to thighs.
Closing to 3 feet and repositioning shield.
Swinging shield from right to left could be described a bit better, perhaps swing the shield from right to left like and opening door...it gives a more clear visual of what you are trying to do. The sword stab is worth a shot, though given His size, the shield will pretty much protect Him from this with very little movement on His part.
In prodigy, the idea is realism....each post is only taking 1-2 seconds tops from start to finish.....what you have done here is essentially a resetting of weapons which is a nono unless it is a flowing motion, which this is not. -1

is in the large main field and says to Pelagon Guest of Hulneth: I watch the man move towards me my dark eyes watching his body for any movement that I would react to from years of experience. His shield moved to try and bash my shield to my right and then his sword comes towards my left shoulder. How I respond to this is simple. My left arm moves to my left side a bit my left shoulder slipping slightly behind me as my left forearm rises just slightly like a few inches to put my shield’s left side to my left side slightly and this would make the shield glance over the face of my shield and your sword hit the top left hand slide of my shield and not my forearm (all mpov)
my sword hand was still up high to my right with the blade pointing down though the tip might have been knocked to my right a bit by the movement of your shield. My right wrist twists upwards to bring the sword up level with your head hopefully near your left shoulder and the flat of the sword facing you. I then move my right arm to my left in a flowing movement to my left keeping the sword straight and making sure your shield and sword not in the way which it is not I believe as I hope to hit you in the left side of your face and pretty much knock you out if it hits and my sword ends up towards my left side still above my shoulders.
First off, He was trying to move your sword, not your shield. Secondly, He was aiming at your left upper arm. Your defense is sound, but you need to pay attention to what your opponent is actually doing or you will find yourself in strife. -1
It would have been batted to your right some, but coming over the top of the shield works well.

is in the large main field and says to Ahoicipe {MK}Macha's sav: As he raises his shiled a little to block my sword, I feel the tip of my blade glance off the edge of his shiled as this is happening I swing my shiled upwards and to my left towards his sword in the hope that his sword will be knocked towards his right, away from the stance he has it in, simultaneously I pivot on my left foot around left ways to add more strength behind my shiled swing
I move one pace to my right to put a little distance between ahoicipe and me at the same time bringing my shiled towards my body so that between my chin and thighs at the same time raise my sword arm so that my elbow is perpendicular in angle against my right side of body the blade of my sword is horizontal to the ground then I pump my sword forwards towards the left side of his throat to try to puncture it with the tip of my blade.
realistically....your shield would still be out to your left because the reset it not allowed, and you would be too slow to lift it and block this shot and thus you would get slapped in the face with the sword and knocked out...BUT....You did state the shield had come back so we will take it from there.....
The defense you have made here from the psotion you saw the shield in is clean.
The only issue here is the wording, you are stating this like each happens in sequence, which then becomes too many actions.....you need to learn to roll all these motions into one flowing combo and then it will work better and look and feel smoother. -1

is in the large main field and says to Pelagon Guest of Hulneth: Watches you move and stuff thinking that makes you about 6ft away from me give or take and to my left. I turn right away with a fast movement of my feet to my left slightly till I face you square and my shield was in the last position it was over my let shoulder slightly so just in case I rise my shield a few inches so it was covering the neck up to my nose and the sword would not be able to hit my neck it would hit my shield at most. though I was pretty sure you where to far away but best to be safe than sorry.
I circle fast to my right to move around your right side as the circle tightens to end up at your left side facing your left arm I hope at 3 foot away. I then bring my right hand once more to my left as it was out to my right still high up and at the same time twists my right wrist to my left to hopefully bring the edge of the blade into the back of your head where the head meets the neck below the helm I hope.
He is still withing striking distance...your left would be level with his left. By turning you square to his left side somewhat. shield would not need to move much to defend, you could do with better description other than 'slightly' tho....lifting the shield to cover the left side of My throat/neck etc etc....but...this is clean
This works ok...again, make it flow and perhaps a bit more description in the actual strike.

is in the large main field and says to Ahoicipe {MK}Macha's sav: I follow your movements as you move backwards then move back towards me I pivot around to my left so that now we are both facing each other font on at the same time as I start to swing my shiled in front of my body I drops my sword to the ground and pulls my throwing axe from its loop on my right hip with my right hand grasping it just under the head moving my right hand down the handle of the axe as my shiled moves into position raised so that the top edge of my shiled is nose height so that as he trys to thrust his sword towards my throat hopefully the blade of his sword will glance off my shiled
I move to my left around 6ins my left foot turns out a little so I keeps my balance while I move into I raise the axe so that the axe head is leaning over my right shoulder, my right elbows angle is again perpendicular to the right side of my body then instantly swings my axe in a crescent looking movement towards the left side of his head, hoping that the weight of the axe and my strength will bury the axe head through his helmet and into the side of his head
This is bordering on too many actions, but they flow ok. The swing was at the back of your neck so if you turned to face Him it would be at the side of your neck....by putting your shield to nose height you would save your neck but the blade would most likely ricochet off the rim into the side of your head and have you either dead or in deep trouble seeing stars. -1
This works ok....and good attack...he has no helm.

is in the large main field and says to Pelagon Guest of Hulneth: I did not have a helm on so when you do your moment and change your weapon I was not going to allow you to try and use my head as a bit of wood. As your axe swing in to the left side of my led I moved my left arm forward and up so the shield was before my head at my left side slightly so it covered the left side of my face this was a risk because for a moment I was blinded and at the same time my feet moved backwards face to make the distance 6ft from you hoping the axe hit the shield or at least the axe handle hit the left side of the shield and in my backwards movement absorbed the impact and not my head.
I then lift my shield up as its slightly to my left anyway hoping your axe might be caught on my shield edge ar the same time I stepped forward again closing the distance to 3 foot as my right hand moved down in a semi circle right down then left arch to try and hopefully berry the sword edge into your left thigh.(just your defence now no attack and its over~s~)
This works,
Lift it up where? Straight up...to the left to get it away? Now He can decide where -1 Attack is fine.

is in the large main field and says to Ahoicipe {MK}Macha's sav: I see him step backwards and raise his shiled to try to protect his head I feel the effect thru the handle of the axe as hopefully the head of it buries deep into his shiled.
As he pulls backwards I let go of the axe handle then as he starts to move towards me I move my shiled in front of my body lowering it so that my left thigh is protected, simultaneously I swing my shiled towards your sword in the hopes of deflecting your sword swing to my left thigh as my shiled finishes the swing movement I pull my shiled quickly in front of my body so that from my chin to my thighs are covered.
Defense is ok. Had a way to travel but you would have time due to His step in.

Ahoicipe: Pretty good for the most part, just watch the positioning errors and try and be clearer with the descriptions.
Pelagon: Not a bad effort first up. You need to keep your eye on the weapon positioning and maybe work on your description a bit. You have a good Mentor, I am sure He will beat it into you ~grins~ Also, when describing your opponent.....try to use 'you' and 'your' rather than 'his' because some people speak third person when they spar (eyes them cause they KNOW who they are) and it may throw some judges off.
Overall, not a bad effort.
