Greetings High Jarl,
I just wanted to ask Your permission to visit Hulneth a few times because I am seeking a Home in online Gor.
I visited Hulneth a couple of evenings ago on the day of the celebration in honour of Pelagon, seeing Him there and wanting to congratulate Him and wish Him a great evening. He kindly invited me to stay but RT commitments (bedtime) meant it wasn't possible. He said I would be welcome to visit at another time.
This evening I visited but was sternly told by a Free Man to put ~o~ tags after my name and He also threatened with a collar if I interfered in the roleplay. Truthfully, I was not seeking to interfere in any way and maintained a respectful attitude towards all in the room. I did as I was ordered and left the room soon afterwards (to cook dinner for my family).
Please could You let me know if I need to put ~o~ tags after my name when I visit since it doesn't say that on the entrance page for Hulneth Island. It also says "Free Women – Will not be harmed or captured in Hulneth GRP if You act like an idiot you will simply be removed and the shame of Your action taken to Your home." I give You my word that I was not acting like an idiot.
I don't want to cause trouble - if Hulneth is not a suitable home for me, I will move on.
Respectfully,
Orynia

not a problem and well asked
No, FW will not be collared at Hulneth as it is mainly a trade Isle in the shipping lanes of Gor, up north past the coast of Kassau.
You are a Free and have My word and right of safe passage as a Free to and from the Isle. This is extended to all Free, Men and Women. Perhaps the Man was a little over zealous and having seen the operation of some other homes then people can get confused about what Gor is about.
Hope this helps and I cannot help more without the specifics.
Regards
High Jarl MacBain

okay, just got more information:
This would be Leo from the Garrison I assume, a guest. His home collars FW as is a Garrison.....Here WE DO NOT... Leo is not a member of My Home and is rather obvious He does not know My rules....My apologies for Your treatment and will ensure My Guests understand where they are and how Gor operates on this isle.
My thanks for bringing this to My attention

Jarl Joe and Lady Nyah,
Thank you for the welcomes, apologies and clarifications. I really didn't want to stir up any trouble but I was a bit taken aback by the Free Man's threats. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't breaking the rules of the Home by my actions.
I look forward to enjoying my time on Hulneth.
Respectfully,
Orynia

Orynia, if I had been then when that had happened to you I would have dealt with it personally (evicted Thorgaerd from the Island), you were there as an aquaintance of mine and have totally safe passage. I hope you return soon to the Island.

Thank you Lady Witness *smiles* I understand (from diligent reading of this message board) that you are a lady to be reckoned with despite your apparently small stature ;D Pelagon - thank you, I'm quite sure you would have stood no nonsense from anyone overstepping the bounds laid down by your High Jarl for welcoming visitors to Hulneth. I did arrive a few days ago but in rather a sorry state after a rough sea voyage. I've been recuperating (invisibly...) at the Inn. Perhaps when Real Life allows me some time off this Roller Coaster, I shall manage to visit again and say 'hello' Orynia
